Oof, seriously? I've seen maybe 5 episodes in the last few years, and they ranged from uninteresting to "meh" (except the future christmas one, which i enjoyed but it still wasn't funny).

maxxpower, the man with the name you'd love to touch.
Do do dododododo do do do dododododo do do do DO-dodo-do DO-dodo-do…
Miley Cyrus is far too contemporary for The Simpsons (beyond a random guest star). I'd expect plenty of "wardrobe malfunction" references, though.
Could he BE any more serious?
There's no way anything the Beastie Boys did could be considered "sad." Except dying, of course.
"Why is the internet so fucking stupid all the time?"
ZA!
@avclub-782066c88e9c574d6085f3ddfc7032e4:disqus I commented elsewhere that my disappointment with LOST, such as it was, wasn't that the mysteries weren't explained, just that they were resolved in the least interesting way possible. Furthermore, when people complained about that resolution, we were basically told…
The best theory I heard for LOST was the "time-loop" theory. It was 100% coherent with what we knew up until the end of season 4 and was pretty tight. I like to think that the writers had originally intended that to be the plot of the series, but once someone figured it out scrapped it and decided to do something…
Oh shit, that was real? A friend of mine told me that but I thought he was just making it up.
The mysterious parachute drop from season 2 was from a still-operational Dharma station off-island. The others were pretending to be Dharma people to the outside world so they kept on sending in supplies. Presumably anyone on the mainland connected to the Dharma Initiative still believes they're up and running.
But it was totally marketed as a sci-fi adventure show. So no matter what show they thought they were writing (a serious character drama), many of the people who were watching were there for the sci-fi and adventure. I'm not saying the show was bad because it wanted to be about the characters, but that's not what many…
As has been confirmed repeatedly by Carlton and Lindelof too. I read somewhere they admitted that they made a huge mistake by adding the flaming wreckage over the end credits of the finale just for that reason.
If I'm disappointed with LOST, it's because there were so many interesting directions they could have gone, but didn't. The time-travel stuff, cheesy as it was, was a really interesting premise. They really could have gone somewhere with that, but instead let it turn into a fart in the wind in favor of glowing caves…
Seems to me lots of people care? We're talking about it after all.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but isn't it a bit premature to assume that Breaking Bad's finale is the best when it just aired two days ago? You don't think that your feelings might be residual from the excitement of the show itself and your investment of it, and after some time and separation you will be…
I just finished watching the 30 Rock finale a few minutes ago (season 7 just went up on Netflix) and I cried, again. So perfect.
Ed: Realized I was being a dick for something I have no investment in. Apologies, @highwayofdespair.
Are you counting the Lonely Island skit/track? Because that's pretty good.
