Right behind The Cold Vein, you say? I like the way you think, @avclub-23715123e5ab7cdeef35d1cc064d9e44:disqus .

Many years ago I had a boss who would play that Millennium CD in the store almost every day. I think she was single-handedly trying to start a Robbie Williams craze.

As a huge fan of the first Deltron album, I was not disappointed…mostly.

I realize it's asinine for someone like me, with two mathematics degrees and many years experience working with mathematics, to pass judgment on a non-expert for misspelling a specialized term from outside his field.

It seems like every field now has their popular science writer they loathe.

As my username suggests, I too have a problem with this.

Sharpe's was pretty great. I'm hoping it'll make it to Netflix someday.

Not yet, but I haven't given up.

Let's see…

That was a really interesting movie. In particular how nasty their house got when they couldn't afford housekeepers anymore. It was definitely a "this is what you really are without your money" moment.

My girlfriend, who had never watched much of the show before, decided to watch a season 2 episode with me to see if she'd like it. About halfway through she said "I thought Sean Bean was in this."

Louis C.K. guest stars as Walt's long-lost brother.

I don't like that band. All their music sounds like experimental b-sides by a band that would be really good otherwise.

Unrelated: I realized I'm racist, sexist, and classist. I automatically assume any comment like this is coming from a well-educated white male. Make of that what you will.

"When you're a carpenter, all your problems look like nails."

This sounds pretty good. I'd totally watch a show about the founding of the Byzantine empire.

At least Discovery hasn't reached the ridiculous depths of TLC or The History Channel.

I took a pretty neat History of Film class in college which approached it somewhat holistically (formal, historical, analytical, critical). It was the only class that let us watch and write about Starship Troopers.

True. But if both things matter, then why haven't we had this feature until just now?
