Aparently Singapore is has the most developed comedy scene in Asia as well.  Comedy Central Asia has chosen it as their home, and there seems to be a lot of stand-up comedians coming from there (no improv teams though?)
Can't say I'm a big fan of their style though, a lot of very regional humor along the lines of…
