@avclub-bfd3491bc017af783d6870e1c3ff3064:disqus Thank you for admitting that the issue is that you just don't like being told it's wrong to fantasize about touching someone else without their permission.

What bothers me is that there's this entire class of people whose lifestyle is considered so noble and important that the government jumps through hoops and spends a great deal of money to preserve that lifestyle, and nobody considers that shameful or farmers to be welfare recipients.
I'm impressed by how quickly @avclub-3ef815416f775098fe977004015c6193:disqus proved to be a dipshit. Almost makes that other dipshit grunting about "Left-Liberal views" look good.
Maybe that dude's a grower, in addition to being a shower?
"You know full well what the commercial is about."
@avclub-82dbf0e1f43223ffc175e63f2b2c3aa2:disqus Who said anything about having to say it out loud?
It's impossible for anyone ex-military to show up on TV without people solemnly thanking them for their service. You tell me the last time anyone thanked someone from the State Department or the IRS.
@avclub-d155e6847d268061f3d8cd008a44a202:disqus I'm sympathetic with @avclub-938603766b16954933bae247b9a4f8ac:disqus and I also think Mitt Romney was scary. Don't be so reductive.
Yeah, that's why stuff like "oh, it looks like she smiled afterward" just doesn't fly. There's this perennial concept of the virile, heroic man forcing the coy woman to recognize her desire for him by strength of will and initiative, and it's toxic.
"Did you really explicitly get her consent? I guarantee you the answer is no."
If consent isn't depicted, then the depiction is nonconsensual. Consent is affirmative — if she doesn't say "yes", the assumption must be "no".
A movie where a dude keeps on getting raped by ladies would actually be more likely to be an interesting feminist statement than this thing.
The script is absolutely packed with notes about Watters' performance and psychology, so that's exactly the kind of thing I would expect them to direct the actor to do.
Oh, I like it too. It's just insanely dorky to bring your dog to Fuck Planet.
"Romance-industrial complex"? Sounds like something Liz would say.
There's a balance between Competent But Harried Liz and Total Fucking Mess Liz. Liz was too competent and reasonable in the very early show, and season 4 spent a bit too much time kicking her in the face.
"Grazerites"! I forgot about that. That's right up there with "Duckinian" for on-the-nose alien species names.
So, uh, is anyone else super pumped for next week? "Return To Grace"? That episode is amazing. One of the episodes I rewatch more frequently than any other.
Best "dumb Archer" moment: he brings his fuckin' dog to Risa!
The script describes him as from a race that basically evolved from sheep, and there's certainly a sheepish docility to him.
