I asked about this last week and I'm still looking for an explicit reference to Leyton working with Section 31. It is mentioned that this is when Odo is infected with Section 31's virus, but that doesn't mean that Odo's presence on Earth was merely a pretext any more than the conference in "Inter Arma Enim Silent

People on DS9 treats Odo like he's Data — incapable of lying, 100% trustworthy, etc. Which is funny, because that's definitely his character, but it's not intrinsic like it is with Data.

I've never, ever seen Odo's arc as having to do with trying to "become more human". That's Data's story.

It is you who is terrible.

Season 4 was definitely the season of Sad Sack Liz. I don't think it's as bad as people say, though.

My understanding is that Tina Fey and Robert Carlock are going to work on another show together after this.

In every episode, a different bitch steals a different one of 50's extensive collection of skulls.

That's what "interactive" means to me in this context. It's possible that's not something Dan is familiar with.

I can't speak for anyone else, but sex takes time and energy. If I was having sex every time I felt like it, I would be spending most of my time and energy having sex. That would be ridiculous.

I think a lot of those women don't know what they're really asking for to be the sole sexual outlet for another person. There's always going to be times when one partner is horny to distraction and the other is tired or busy or not feeling it. Both directions, usually.

Yeah, Dan assumes it's some sort of online sex chat/webcam thing, but I thought it was probably one of those dopey interactive porn videos or a videogame. Big, big difference there.

It sounds like a well-titled book.

That movie is great. As is the MST3K episode.

It's "safe" to the extent that it's probably barely cocaine. Unfortunately, for a while there at least it was getting cut with some kind of Mexican heart medication, which is probably worse for you than the coke.

Because it brings joy to the human heart to labor and to create, and to bring that same joy to others by the sweat of one's brow. People don't work just because they want to get paid. In the absence of any pecuniary motivation to work, most people still do.

@avclub-dbdec92c1a47832b13fc9f11e75ca600:disqus What I think is that humans have a luxury economy. Anyone who wants to can go and get replicated clothing, food, free medical care, etc. from the Federation/Starfleet. They can travel as they please and work as they please. Nobody's going to be starving, and nobody's a

David Gerrold has also said that Gene was responsible for shelving his episode with a gay couple. Pretty much every example I know of his being an influence on TNG once it was airing was for the worse.

My opinion has always been this:

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus I don't think it's a huge leap from his normal persona, but Holo-Worf is absolutely not just Worf. He's playing a cool, collected senior henchman here, which is similar to his normal stoicism in some ways, sure. But his tone of voice seems less gruff and Worfy, as do his reactions.
I think it's
