Wow, I was about to post a "where's Barf Man?"

@Dwigt
Russian Ark is hardly an artistic achievement in any sort of cinematic sense. It's a wonderful technical achievement to be sure, and the music and costumes were incredible, but at its heart, the movie was fundamentally a gimmick— a theoretically interesting gimmick, but still a gimmick.
As anyone who has ever…
meh, Seth Green gets a pass for life for Buffy (not to mention Radio Days), so he's welcome to pop up wherever he likes. Except for John Travolta/Robin Williams vehicles.
Bronsonman, I disagree. Mortal Combat is a very good game, but the greatest game of all time is Donkey Kong.
In a Brock-free episode, it reached a pretty high level of bad-assery.
Patton Fucking Oswalt
Agree, or you'll get herpes on your lip from your wife's ass. Herpes that I put in her.
This reminds me of
the Chris Rock interview a month or so back. The part where he talks about movies that are meant to be comedies rather than whatever genre they originally were…
"bocce"
"bocce ball court"
Unless "boche" is bocce plus douche.
Wackoff… Bob Dylan and Miles Davis are obscure?
Oh, and Sunglasses, anything that's actually by Lou Reed gets bonus points, so a B for MMM is about right.
But none of the "real" members of The Velvet Underground are on Squeeze. Doug fucking Yule is not VU. And even though Mo Tucker is credited, the studio thought she was too expensive, so its just some studio guy on drums.
This looks really good.
Mostly because Adam Goldberg is fucking awesome.
I Love Your Work is one of my recent favorites, but every time I see the cover art, poster, or trailer I want to kill myself for how incorrectly it was marketed.
I feel like the expansiveness of Darjeeling was a major step away from the "W. Anderson style" for him. Certainly it retains many elements of his previous work, but it shows him reaching for influences outside of his usual, more apparent ones.
And it's good.
(Spoiler) Cusack performs in the film in blackface, because Emmerich originally wanted Morgan Freeman for the role and he couldn't be bothered to write out all of the keen racial subtext.
God Damn it Cusack!
Do something cool again!
I mean… she probably got paid a shit ton for the appearance.
The 24 ep. was not funny.
I've only seen one or two of the Futurama movies, and my complete lack of memory of them probably says something about how good they were.
(Fact)Freaks and Geeks and Firefly were excluded because they're both better than most series that got more than one season.(End Fact)
Vodka Piss Power?
Fucking Sweet
Well, as Dwigt said, being at the lower end of the Wilder spectrum is hardly a bad thing… it's just when (as a comedy) it has to compete with The Apartment and Some Like it Hot and even Irma la Douce… it just won't compare favorably.
