Haven't seen Man of Steel yet, but I still think it would be awesome fun to have a big budget Silver Age Superman movie with Kryptonite every color of the rainbow, Krypto the Super Dog, Mr. Mxyzptlk, super-robot doubles, the works.  The lighter touch of Avengers came close to that, but I'll be shocked if DC ever

Overseas piracy is pretty serious, though: friends who have visited Asia have shown me pirated DVDs of very recent movies sold openly on the street there.  Rampant piracy is one of the US' sticking points with China on trade, for example, and that's a huge (potential) market.  If we're increasingly looking to the

Or from two years ago, if you can get Sorkin on board.

Soon to be remade in 3-D by Tim Burton, with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter playing every role!

"Two weeks!"

I was alerted to this film by an article (very much like this one!) in my local alt-weekly paper.  I liked it a lot, but I've only seen it once.  I should watch it again but there are so many things I haven't seen at all yet!

In the remake, Tim Allen saves the day with his rocket-powered riding lawnmower.
