I really hope that misspelling of "shield" is accidental.

That's not too promising for the show, sadly (I mean his footnote review, not the absence of those many brilliant and compelling scenes from the actual canon).

I get vague nostalgic flashbacks from that video. I think I must have had it on some Disney music video compilation VHS. Possibly it was near the end and I'd fast-forward that song cause it was too scary? It's pretty great now, though it seems like it's ripping off Dumbo somewhat.

Tablet surfing update:
- Does anyone know how to date Natalie Dormer? I'm asking for a friend.
- Netflix works great. Better picture than my TV.
- So far, I've been able to log in to Chatovod but not actually enter the chat itself. Clearly, this is a long term project.

Catherine! How are you doing?

On the back end and any international versions.

94/99.

First post from a mobile device (not a phone but a small tablet). Only took me like half an hour. This must be how Neil Armstrong felt.

Very exciting game (or the last 6 innings of it that I watched), though KC seemed to be the only team threatening to score.

Time to go to Penalty Kicks?

Sounds like the injuries may sting worse than the result.

Great review, Digi.

"So Cruel" is probably my favorite U2 song. "Mysterious Ways" is up there, too.

With X-Files, look for a list of essential episodes somewhere on the net. You can probably watch like the best 3-6 episodes from each of the first 4 seasons or something. You can come back for others later if you really like it.

I read a lot of comics this weekend:

So Netflix is about to drop Mr. Show Redux, Aziz Ansari's show and Jessica Jones, with new Gilmore Girls forthcoming. It's not just going to be my favorite "channel" but might end up having like over half the shows I follow.

Here's a story about how the NFL lobbied to make internet gambling illegal, but big money fantasy football sites which sponsor NFL teams totally legal, by attaching it to an anti-terrorism seaport protection bill.

Bluff called!

John Mellencamp recorded a live version. IIRC it was the b-side to the "Key West Intermezzo" single. It was fun but pretty much what you'd expect.

Your message like a flood.
