The next best thing to being there:
It's been several years since I binged the series, but it just occurred to me, do we ever actually see the twin peaks, other than on the welcome sign or (to give the benefit of the doubt to the wider shot) the credits? I don't remember.
It may become clear with time. I remember during Season 1, Bob Odenkirk's character's obliviousness got to the point where I began wondering whether he was in cahoots with Malvo, but he eventually explained he simply couldn't wrap his head around the fucked-up-ness of what was happening.
One of Abbie's Mom's earliest memories is being bitten by a duckling. She recalls being not so much hurt as surprised that a cute little duckling would bite her.
I dated a Corinthian who was really into leather.
The older brother of beloved character Graham Beckel (who, perhaps ironically, is conservative).
You'd think that, but he'll actually be the only one who does, in an homage to Mel Brooks's Silent Movie.
Stanley Tucci even slipped in the C-word as Jack Warner, if memory serves.
They're hermaphroditic. Their mating habits resemble a human centipede, only using horns.
"Introducing the McBaby!"
Extra points if they put his mole in a different place, a la Richard Lewis.
Pope Coke Zero
I just saw this, too (albeit in the US). I believe the black guy in the beginning is the same person as "Logan" at the party.
"War! It's fantastic!"
The A.V. Club
Even a few actors from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, due to both being made in the Pittsburgh area. Chef Brockett is one of the asylum inmates!
Did I have a stroke, or did one of the clues start off all lowercase before switching to the usual uppercase halfway through? It didn't involve E. E. Cummings, so I assume it was a mistake.
I once read a book about how the very streets of Washington, DC, were laid out according some sort of Freemason system, and subsequent additions, including monuments, only emphasize the connection.
