I was also surprised there was no mention (unless I missed it) that Victor Buono also got an Oscar nomination for Baby Jane. That could not have gone down well with Crawford, either, being odd man out among the three main characters.

I loved Married with Children, but my mom hated it and to this day can't stand Ed O'Neill. She'll see him at the Emmys and roll her eyes, "Oh, God!"

My mistake when I first saw it was expecting it to be a flat-out comedy, so I was disappointed. I liked it much better when I saw it a couple years later and knew to expect more of a drama.
