Attention non-comedy fans: Joe Dirt is playing on Comedy Central

I really need to watch Mr Show….

Mine comes from the Simpsons, Treehouse of Horror VIII. On the verge of nuclear apocalypse, Comic Book Guy looks up from a comic he was critiquing ("Oh, Aquaman, you cannot date a girl from the surface) and sees the missile heading directly for him leading the comical, but profound line: "Oh, I've wasted my life".

Argh, that reference be from the great nautical tome, Moby Dick. And the
character that be referenced is the savage but noble Queequeg

but the american version has John C. Reilly… so there is that…

Dark Veronica Saga or GTFO

Specific reasons for liking Tree of Life:

Not trolling, promise: but is everyone cool with the relative prejudice to near hatred that seems to exist for "bros" here? It just seems like if you throw any other group into these kinds of anecdotes, then suddenly you are no longer the hero. Like for say…man there was this black guy and his roommate in college that

Tie the rope, kick the chair
voting for the Format, already there

Cynicism: denied!

Technically (apologies not sure how to do italics), if one looks at whispering eye's comment as a subjective statement, then it can still be the ultimate truth for him.

Out of curiosity, is theism then in that sense just an explanation for life? I am not saying one needs a definitive set of one religion's beliefs to go along with belief in a god, just not sure what the point of believing in a god without having context for that belief…

Am I the only AV Clubber who knows that song… huzzah for esoteric Jimmy Buffet humor

Hitchens may have had some unpopular opinions about the Iraq War, but I think it's a gross misconception to claim that he was part of the "propaganda" to support it. He had his opinions, but they certainly weren't propaganda, I mean it's laughable to think that nearly any leader/recognized figure in the USA would use

There's a lot I haven't seen: Hugo, Take Shelter, Certified Copy, Melancholia, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Skin I Live In, Carnage, Tabloid. With that in mind- here's my list:

Eh, sometimes the snark just feels phoned-in… I mean while reading a news articles is one thing- I have a feeling if the people I knew in real life relayed stories to me with that specific brand of humor- I'd probably find them insufferable.

In a weird way, i found it to be one of the most grown-up themes of the show: that leaders could be easily manipulated and that while the earth-king could be seen as evil for all the bad that happened under his rule- he was more or less just a dumb pawn…not that i think the writer's of avatar were making a direct

i hope not…if you strike down Michael Stipe, he will only become more powerful than we can imagine…just like Jesus..

Why is everyone going after the reviewer?  I think the grades and overall reviews have been fine. I don't think the continuity searching is a bad trait especially because this season flirted with making their characters grow a bit: You're Getting Old, Ass-Burgers and 1%.

Crank 2, with my father. Weird at any age.
