I'm not really sure how anyone can claim that this girl isn't that
pretty, unless your standards are absurdly specific.  She's slender, has
good skin, curves, full lips, no weird facial issues… what exactly is
the problem?  Is it just because you hate bangs, or don't like Asian
girls?

@avclub-3be42d8a3412057f79af152555e39bd4:disqus Orange and chocolate is my kryptonite.  Marry me.

Man, you are missing out on more Isis.  At least check out "Hall of the Dead."  It's glorious.

Edited?  Was one of your original picks a little too plausible?

Isn't the very first episode of the series one where Homer is embarrassed by his family, and they're all sitting in the car waiting for him to get in, and Marge says "Come on Homer… room for one more, honey!"  And then the whole family starts the chant from Freaks, "gooble-gobble, one of us!"

"Twilight Eyes" was one of my favorite Dean Koontz novels.  It's a little Twilight Zone-y, too.

Didn't Serling participate in the liberation of a concentration camp during his WWII service?  I've always assumed his personal horror was what gave that episode its venomous edge.

I remember watching them on WPIX in the basement of my parents' old house as a kid, late at night or early in the morning, alone.  I think the first episode I saw was "Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?"  Blew my tiny little mind.

I'm really looking forward to the prequel, "Sent Ahead," starring Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy, and Corey Haim.

See now I was thinking Nic Cage as Daniel Plainview.  He really could've delivered "I drink your milkshake!" with the proper gravitas.

I am starting work on a hardcore album right now so that I can call myself "The Internazis" and my LP "Impunity & Money."

I love "Cigarette."  It's like a short story in the space of a couple of sentences.

Black Sabbath, Paranoid
War Pigs - Paranoid

Appetite is a great choice.  Except it continues on its extraordinary run all the way through "Paradise City."  Side A of that album is pretty much unimpeachable.

But the second track is "Fair," not exactly an album highlight.

Yeah but the question was 1-2 punches.  Do you really like "Cans and Brahms" that much?

Reminds me of the "speechless" image that was kicking around after Mel Blanc died.

Anybody got a recommendation on a site to find out about upcoming metal shows, preferably in NYC?  Does Brooklyn Vegan cover it, or is there a better source for info?

Am I a bad person if I totally used Google translate to spy on that conversation?

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!
