"An Echo, A Stain" by Bjork. I've always assumed that song was about vampires, but regardless, it's creepy as hell.

I quite liked "Black Death," actually. But then I do enjoy grim medieval pieces.

Yeah but we got the Islanders now so… yay?

I've always been partial to The Pine Bluff Variant, myself. It's a nice twist on the hostage situation in that Mulder, working undercover, ends up among the hostage takers, rather than the hostage taken.

My 11th-grade English teacher got real excited when we discussed "The Catcher In The Rye" because it was the one time of the year she was allowed to say "fuck" in class. She even wrote it on the blackboard in giant letters, just because she could.

@avclub-e95a45d0b1f5afdf0ab9cde82b4b1d06:disqus , if you never saw it before, that means you haven't seen "Marjorine," which is the best episode South Park ever did. Don't deprive yourself any longer.

I spent an absurd number of hours one summer playing Twisted Metal 2 with some folks I'm still good friends with. If someone would ever come out with a networked version of that game where you could play co-op with someone online, I'd probably do it all over again.

Can anyone tell me whether my vague concerns about Eyehategod possibly being a racist apologia are in any way justified? I can't understand a damn word that dude is singing, but the "Southern Nihilism Front" stuff makes me wonder if they have some kind of neo-Confederate thing going on.
