Can't speak for John Cryer, but Marisa Tomei is an an excellent actress and Jethro Tull an excellent band (although Rock Island is hardly their peak).  It's shame otherwise worthy artists are mostly remembered for being given awards they didn't deserve.

The first two Louie episodes I saw were "Come On, God" and "Eddie" back to back.  Blew my little mind.  I won't say everything else has been a disappointment, but I think that was setting the bar awfully high.
