Yes. She's seven. It's over.
Bingo.
Rico Rodriguez appears not to have taken any acting lessons at all, and the line cadences and deliveries that were just fine when he was an 11 year old dressing like a count are now wooden. He's not doing any voice work, either. I can't hear any adjustments at all to the inevitable changes.
The writers seem to understand this after some failed scenes last year and are minimizing Nolan Gould's onscreen time or are relegating him to second banana in subplots, such as where he's Phil's apprentice in this episode.
God, yes. The squealing feyness, too, really needs toning down.
Yup. Puberty has not been kind to him. I wonder when he'll get his nose done (which might take care of his now-nasal voice).
"2. Would a newspaper firing from a t-shirt cannon really blow the fuse box beyond repair?"
What's up with this American terror over finding a woman under 21 attractive?
The Andy-Haley-Manny love triangle is about to be a thing. I’m Team Andy.
You sound fat, Matt. I mean, really fat. Angry, resentful fat.
Naturally slim is great. 30 pounds overweight is usually quite unattractive. 100 pounds overweight is never attractive.
"A REAL woman's shape."
I won't value one woman's shape over another,…
How about we just don't talk about people's weights?
You don't understand. "these_pretzels" is whinging on the behalf of Lard Nation, where every special snowflake is a desirable princess even when morbidly obese, and the mere observation "she's chubby" sends them over the edge. How dare you even suggest she's imperfect?
You're an idiot. She's not just chubby, she's fat. She's fat. She's fatfatfatfat.
She's fifty pounds overweight, moron.
Vergara is also very solid. The show doesn't give her much opportunity to show range, but she's quite good.
Funny. If you think Rico Rodriguez can act, you have no business evaluating actors. Like many child actors (see Gould, Nolan) he has been unable to carry what made him appealing into his midteens.
