Plus I think it was funnier than any other episode this season.

Yes, but the writers care.
Right?! It was so great. Drogon's gigantic claws hitting the ground; his ear-shattering roar; Jon looking like he's about to soil himself (kudos to Kit Harrington); Drogon's massive snout approaching Jon who insanely removes his glove and reaches out with his bare, shaking hand…
I'm an expert on dragon physiology and I agree with this message.
Well, she was staring at him like he's an old friend and she thought he was dead. He was staring at her like he had an altar to her in his quarantine cell.
In terms of survival, I was slightly impressed with Cersei for being all What Would Tywin Do. Tywin absolutely would use the impending apocalypse to agree to a false armistice so he could murder his opponents while they were distracted by zombies. That's so Tywin! etc.
Yeah, the crew headed beyond the wall has some awesome acting talent. But I think Jorah's a goner.
I thought they would discuss it — or someone would. Did she guess that Jon has Targaryen blood during that encounter?
Agreed. It was great when newbies and book-readers alike were equally clueless, and the only thing you could get spoiled for was the latest episode that had aired.
Well, we the viewers know Jon has a real problem to deal with. But Dany's only got his word for it. And his alliances up north may be fragile, but that's not her problem, is it?
Yeah, I don't think it's going to kill the site either. But it may very well kill off the enjoyable commenting community, which is the main reason I visit. I wonder how many of the regular commenters will still be posting by the end of this year.
Disqus can't handle several thousand comments. This happens to the Game of Thrones comment sections every week.
I used to be a teenage girl. My point is that the movie industry does not prioritise that demographic. I believe it values male viewers under 25 more than any other, and that shows in the kinds of movies that get made.
Really? When was that magical era? ;) I don't think I'm old enough to have experienced it, because as far as I can remember, whenever a female-led movie has been a huge hit, its success came as a surprise to the industry.
Enjoyable read. The only little bit I take issue with is the notion that teenage girls are the most coveted demo of all. That's laughable. If it were true, the choice of movies at your multiplex would look quite different.
You mean focus on his pressing issues? Each of them has one overriding concern. For Jon, it's the White Walkers and their path of destruction. For Dany, it's finally reclaiming the throne she believes to be her birthright. Each of them stubbornly persisted in pressing their case in this episode (with diplomacy and…
Oh, you don't enjoy it. Well, that's fair enough.
Too nice my ass! I think Lawrence is too passive/not assertive enough,
he avoids confrontation and does whatever's easiest for him.
1) People keep bringing up Dany's infertility as if it's gospel truth. This is a story with magic. She walked out of fire, Jon came back from the dead. Between the two of them I think they can magic up a pregnancy.
I like reading the comments, but Disqus can't cope. If you sort by Oldest First it craps out quickly. If you sort by Newest First it craps out eventually. I tried.
