… They'd have to be hot for that to be true? ;P

Aw, jesus, that was a rhetorical question! Like the amputation wasn't horror enough. ;)

Agreed. But I wouldn't want to bet a child's life on that either!

I think Serena Joy and Fred have always loved each other, but they poisoned their relationship by creating Gilead. How many deaths do they have on their hands from its "founding"? How many times has she held down a woman for him to rape? How long did it take for the power to go to his head and for her world to shrink

Once you saw Janine, did you expect the other Handmaids to go through with it though? I did 100%. I actually thought June was stepping forward to aim a rock right for her head in an attempt to knock her out with the first blow. And when they refused, I expected the men to shoot Janine instead.

I did look away. I saw too much as it was!

the nightmare of Serena Joy writing the laws that outlawed reading and writing for women

I loved the Black Widow/Hulk interaction in the first Avengers movie (particularly their introduction scene) but I didn't like it in Ultron.

But in the movie business the director takes all the credit or all the flack for a movie. I resent that you're reducing the director's role to that of traffic cop the one time a woman directs a massive superhero blockbuster!

Yes. Early in the movie when Steve is concentrating on his map and compass, and Diana, having scaled the wall, suddenly appears above him, you see her boots near his head. And he starts. At that point, I expected the camera to pan up her body. It was quite striking when it didn't happen. I don't think the camera ever

If you really cared you'd have put that year under spoiler bars!

Hey, you can hide some text by putting (spoiler) before it and (/spoiler) after it, except replace the roundy brackets I used with pointy brackets <>.

Everyone on Twitter.

Is a movie's Rotten Tomatoes score having more of an impact on box office these days? Seems like the industry cares about it at least. I suppose these aggregate sites have made it that much easier for people to conclude that a movie is shite without seeing it.

Really? There are a lot of little girls out there who will want WW merch. If Frozen is anything to go by, that market is a goldmine.

Omg, a Fatal Attraction themed season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend sounds amazing!

Good review! I had seen comments in the past about Gal Gadot's acting, with
people speculating that she wouldn't be able to carry a movie. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that she nailed it.

Victory for Daniel Ek.

it also played around with the audience’s perception a bit

Ooh, I like your take on the Jezebel's Martha. You're right; not only did she give him no information, she dismissed the idea of rebellion, stopped him from asking around himself, and changed the subject to June and food. And I still didn't get it! I'm as blind as Nick.
