The Mayor looks very cute. And For The People looks like it could be pretty good. Given that it's a Shondaland production, I guess it's assured two seasons minimum.

This one seems stupider, though.

Seth MacFarlane's smug face is off-putting — Any chance they kill off his character in a twist at the end of the pilot? Where's Dan Fogelman when you need him? — and I already want it to be a better show with a stronger script. But I love the idea of that show Orville.

The male lead looks like Jamie Dornan.

So, Bull, Kevin Can Wait, Man With A Plan and MacGyver all got a second season.

Well deserved! It would have been a crime if the show itself hadn't won too. It's outstanding, unmissable television.

The pictures are all dudes. No actresses are mentioned in the article. No significant female roles in any upcoming show… It's CBS!

All cancelled? Dream on!

The show, which will reportedly test “the boundaries between military discipline and human desire,”

Santiago Cabrera though. With an English accent…

I'm wondering if Marney gives up Charlotte's mother to save his own neck from the noose.

He just wants to feel better about raping her

I agree it was a very plotty episode and I enjoyed it tremendously. Fanny going into labour might have been a subplot too far, but I really like the way the show cares about every minor character and their woes. Nancy, for example, is like a modern take on a Dickensian character, and exactly the kind of thing I wanted

That's a really good point.

Agreed on the carjacking. And she didn't look invincible. She looked like a teenage Rory Gilmore taking her grandparents' car for a joyride in their driveway.

So June is the Commander's pet slave, and he wants to give her little treats so that she will feel grateful to him.

They were slick with that reference.

"Become the monster that came to eat you" is Cato explaining his character for us, I guess. It's a great slogan, to be fair.

The Coach Taylor of theatre kids sounds great. Why Josh Radnor, though?? Seems like poor casting.
