BTW, you see the way they're conspicuously pinching in their forefinger there in a way no one making the "OK" sign does? That's a reference to Pepe the Frog. Milo also does it.

Oh, you're so right. If anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, it's that guy.

Hey, don't worry. You got Cernovich in there with full press credentials and flashing white supremacist gang signs in the white house.

No shit. Do that kind of thing these days, and you end up being the drummer to REM.

So, it's not just a clever name?

Except just stay with the main AVGN stuff and not the other Cinemassacre things, which have involved JonTron.

It's on my iTunes, but I think they're all on youtube:

Yes, it is. I even have an "alternate version" that I culled from the Fun House sessions on Spotify for when it's over and I want to hear it all over again. Also made a pretty good Stooges cover playlist, which includes Pig Destroyer, Birthday Party, Spacemen 3, Depeche Mode…

The newest The New Year album, Snow, comes out tomorrow. It's their first in 9 years, and I'm super excited.

BILL COSBY INNOCENT!

"…and new how to update it properly."
AVClub, are you dictating your newswires into Siri?

I live in a downtown area within a few blocks of all the local antennas, and the unpowered one didn't get me CBS. The powered one did for about 5 bucks extra. I don't watch CBS, so it's a tossup.

It's blocked, so I'm assuming this is Lobsters1/Daffy Dick/Buzz knocking on 30 Rock? He always used to talk shit about Kids in the Hall, so you know where he stands on good comedy.

And the thing about him being home invaded in Jamaica.

The follow-up "Nomad" is also great, though I don't think Iannucci was involved with that one.

Patton Oswalt's was also exclusively about movies, was his second book, and didn't have much of anything to do with "show business and his place in it"

I worked for pizza hut for over a decade. It's fucking garbage. I can't even smell it without getting sick.

I remember the Mad Magazine parody of MWC. It really didn't seem too far off from the real show. At the end, they met Dan and Roseanne and were impressed that there were people even worse than they were.

I definitely don't remember it being a Beatles song, as the article says, though.

That's clearly a telegraphed joke, and Jason is funny.
Really, I've kind of cut out the podcast because I realized that in well over a hundred hours of my time, Paul Scheer has never once made me laugh on the show. He substitutes volume for humor. He was funny on Human Giant and some of the CBB stuff, at least.
