"My two closet college friends had serious eating disorders"
Did we need to know they wee gay,

If the question is "Siamese Dream Or Mellon Collie?" the answer is "Adore".

Were being the operative word. Probably the worst act I've ever seen when I saw them in 2008.

It's an unpopular opinion, but it's my favourite Black Flag album. So I didn't mean it as a diss (that's what the kids call it these days, right?).

"bands that owed more to Black Sabbath than Black Flag"
So bands like In My Head era Black Flag?

Wedding
So is Punchy's wedding putting the wheels in motion, or is it a red herring?

Jonathan Ames punching Jonathan Ames in the face.
*laughs*

Yeah, this is my favourite of the season. I laughed out loud at a couple of the jokes which I haven't done this season and the Barney twist was a nice surprise.

I have the Colbert one, but I'd like Sterling's Gold/The HIMYM ones.

I don't think there's an issue with the show not understanding its audience. I do think there's an issue with the audience not understanding the show, though.

Weakest episode in a while.
Only really laughed at the boat ad, Odenkirk thinking Segel wanted to "fix" Randy and the horse head next to the kid's head.

Subject Title
Pearl Jam was my favourite band when I was 15, though that was 10 years after Vitalogy. No Code was definitely my favourite of their albums, though I loved everything they did up until I saw them live in 2006 and for some reason I just got over them. Not in a bad way, more like a closing that chapter of

I really liked Muppets Treasure Island as a kid, but I haven't seen it since it came out. Blind Pew scared the living shit out of me though. One of the few times I remember being generally scared while watching a movie.

Kings Of Leon recently went on a rant about Hipsters, which is a lot like when My Chemical Romance went on a rant about Emos. It's the ultimate dick move. It's like saying "thanks for being with us when we weren't giant rockstars who could stop Paul Weller going to the shower, but now we have money, you can fuck off."

Albarn's only American Top 40 hit.
I'm quite surprised to discover Song 2 wasn't a top 40 hit.

When I was reading this review, I thought Ted was grabbing his throat because he was watching the show and realised she was threatening him (as in fear and anticipation of what was going to happen), so when I actually watched the episode, I found the scene even more hilarious.

"I mean, that was what The Unbearable Lightness Of Being was all about, right?"
Hey, I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I'm certainly not the dumbest. I mean, I've read books like "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and "Love in the Time of Cholera", and I think I've understood them. They're about girls, right?

Britta's look at Pierce
when he has a plate full of pasta and no vegetables was my favourite bit. I'm still laughing at it.

I would have liked to have heard more of this "Michael Jordan" though. He sounds like an interesting figure from the corridors of history.
