I agree. I just want to hang out with the characters every week, I don't care if we never find out who the mother is.

There probably is, but it's not this story.
The Scientists?
I loved it. The depressive nature made the pay off of the ending all the more beautiful.
Charlie at the end of Two Cathedrals.
There are a lot of amazing moments in Two Cathedrals, but one of my favourites is when Bartlett refuses the coat Charlie offers, Charlie takes off his own coat as well.
He damn well better be doing more 30 Rocks. Even with such an amazing cast and pool of recurring guests, he is easily the highlight.
Ted in these last 2 seasons have been a highlight. But I like douchey Ted.
I've been listening to him on commentary lately. He's often highlight.
"The sole message of it was that having a conscience, and demanding human rights, and environmental protection is frivolous."
Now remember kids, we're parked in the "Itchy" lot.
It's just "come".
Oh my, it looks like I treat grammar the way John Bonham treated his central nervous system.
Nathan Rabin, resident hip-hop expert
dismisses a song for hypocritical combination of arrogant self congratulations nature and its profession of being "real".
S
Of all the post-Carissa Wierd projects, unfortunately the best is probably the most unheard. Jenn Ghetto's solo project S is incredible and definitely should be checked out by everyone.
MIA
MIA has some p. cool songs. That song that samples Blue Monday and sings the chorus from Where Is My Mind? I like it, it reminds me of Blue Monday and Where Is My Mind. The first single, that samples Ghost Rider is promising, too. It reminds me of Ghost Rider.
The Swirlies
The Swirlies devoted an enitire EP to Pitchfork reviewer Meg Zamula after a particularly negative review.
High Fidelity
High Fidelity no doubt applies to many people reading this article, myself included. With a completely obsessed music geek as the main character, it was always going to be an important film/book to me, even without the deeper stuff. But (and this comes across better in the book, not due to any failure of…
I'm a fan.
I like Entourage. It's never going to be my favourite show, but I enjoy it. I don't think it's any worse than what it was at the beginning. However, everytime it looks like it's going to get really good (Medellin bombs, all the characters are getting their own lives and leaving Vince alone), it chickens out…
Big Day Out 2006
I was 17 and didn't have a credit card to purchase a ticket. The White Stripes, Sleater-Kinney and Igyy Pop & the Stooges, among others. White Stripes haven't been back, Sleater-Kinney broke up later that year, and Ron Ashton fucking died.
Just a note, he wasn't playing Metal Machine Music, he was playing with the Metal Machine Trio.
