Also, I have to point out that The Dark Knight opened over a 3-day weekend in mid-July, not a 5-day weekend. Regardless, the opening weekend box-office numbers would have only counted the 3-day opening weekend. TDK made about 158 million in 3-days. This made less than half that, but it was December, not July.
