Have you met that kid? He's not going to college…
I don't pity Angela at all because she has been shown throughout the show to be a horrible person. She's verbally abusive, judgmental, a cheating harlot, and a holier than thou religious hypocrite. She was super bitchy to Pam, Phyllis, Oscar, Kevin, and pretty much everyone she came in contact with throughout the…
I liked Dwight hugging Jim and Pam and their genuine happiness for his ascension to manager, and seeing Dwight scold Clark and kick him off of Jim's desk was good stuff. I thought this episode was one of the strongest of the season, even with Andy's putrid dreck. Oscar taking Angela in was good, and I was happy to…
I thought that same thing when she poured the alcohol into the big gulp cup just like Meredith has done on numerous occasions. I can't stand Angela so I don't feel bad for her, but I also don't buy her descent into poverty. As others said above, it makes no sense. She has no vices, is an accountant and therefor…
@avclub-f55cadb97eaff2ba1980e001b0bd9842:disqus I'm almost positive it was, though he isn't listed on imdb as being in the episode. I guess I'll just have to watch it again to make sure, which is fine by me.
One of the bigger reasons people have children early and often in
small-town Indiana is that no one ever explained birth control to them-
I kind of liked it because it showed a little insight and moderate intelligence for Kevin, instead of how he is usually treated as a barely functioning idiot with a 4th grader's mental capacity. I agree though it would have been better with early season Office subtlety.
I read this and in my mind heard Comic Book Guy's pontificating voice, which makes me chuckle every time. Well played, @Prankster36:disqus
Aye, and you'd likely be sent out to chop wood at age 5, then have your birth certificate forged so you can work in a sheet metal factory by age 9. That might make for a rough childhood.
No matter how many times I hear "Macklin, you son of a bitch" from Chris Pratt, I lose it and laugh hysterically. That man knows funny.
Yeah, she's not really had a lot of opportunity to develop as a character so maybe this will bring her more into the fold and allow Lucy to shine. I think @avclub-5cacf3537687ab9a5b03778cfb57f476:disqus is right on about her being a "straight man" to Ron, though maybe with more screen time she'll be allowed to go in…
Andy's horrible lines and story brought it down for me, but I really like David Wallace and it was cool to see him get some more time on the show. Phyllis and Stanley talking about Little Romeo (or is it Lil? I don't know much about what Jerry calls "Rappists") was pretty funny for me. It was a bounce back for me,…
Uncle, ah no way man, that's too much responsibility for me. I've got to find a way out of this.
That was gold
"I've got to talk to you, and I really wish Jean Ralphio wasn't here right now…"
I liked a lot of it, aside from the awful Andy stuff which unfortunately took up a good deal of the episode. Kevin's line "I've never met anyone like that in my life" was a great line for him, but they followed it up by the now familiar 4th grade level intellect lines for him. I actually liked Dwight in this…
I think it is someone already on the show, but if not that opens the possibility for a new bit character in Pawnee. If that is the case, hopefully they will be as enjoyable as Jason Schwartzman, Matt Walsh, and all the rest of the nutters this town has spawned.
Jason Schwartzman is always a welcome sight on Parks. That was one of my favorite lines of the past few episodes.
"Honey! That's another dance movie, with Jessica Alba…"
It's been awhile since I saw season 1, but I remember Britta as being a devoted activist and smarter than she is in this season.
