Get off the pipe.

It's like all the best writers got poached by another website or something.

So really this is "Matt Sharp Using Rentals Name Again" rather than the actual original band reuniting. BOO-URNS!

The Louis Riel graphic novel is a terrible, terrible graphic novel. The dialogue is proclamatory, there is no subtlety to anything, and the art is so useless at telling the story; at one point Brown has to label the art in order for it to make sense. The footnotes really do all of the heavy lifting.

Those are some of my issues with it exactly - I think there are the ideas for a strong reimaginging of Batman, but the actual execution of the script is just shoddy. I generally quite enjoy Johns' work, but this was not very good.

It's getting a nice review here, but I felt Batman: Earth One was just terrible. Avoiding spoilers, it seemed like a giant pile of good ideas that no one bothered to actually think about how to utilise effectively. There are too many characters, so all feel underdeveloped. Blew off an evening class at university to watch the Doctor Who TV movie. And, despite the mediocrity of what I saw, it was totally worth it to have Doctor Who back on TV for two hours. Kids these days don't know how lucky they are!

I think you seriously underestimate the autuership of Babe. Pig had a vision.

IS SLASH'S HAT STILL IN THE BAND?????????????

And now Jet are a punchline with couple of fondly remembered songs. Did they manage to build a real career on that? I reckon it will be the same with Skrillex.

No, but they are the ones who actually make music into hits. They buy one or two albums a year, but those are the hits. And those albums tend to have strong lyrical perspectives and extremely traditional songwriting. This isn't a bad thing - it's just a thing. With this in mind. the likelihood of Skrillex actually

Hasn't that been the problem with electronic music every time it threatens to be the next big thing? There isn't anything there past the experience of having it played loud at you in a club. Which is cool in its self, but the eleven billion people buying the Adele record don't care.
