…holy shit, dude.

"Superstar copywriter" is a role that very much did exist in the West as well as Japan, at least until the advent of Internet pay-to-play writing moved the going rate to negative cents per word for most people.

There's hype and then there's hallucination.

It's good for you to be reminded that most of us can't work up the effort to shit our pants about this.

Hey, Internet, Let's Never Do This Arbitrary Price Tag Applied To Fictional Events Thing Again, Okay, It's Not That I Don't Like You, I Really Do, Internet, And I Don't Think This Has To Define You Or Our Relationship Which Is Otherwise Going Great

*flips dictionary to 'pedant', leaves it on your desk in a solid pass-agg move

I don't have a single thing in my arsenal I can use against this headline. Defenseless.

I get that he's your friend but he comes across as a huge asshole, which is why dozens of people are saying that without prompting.

You're right, they really should follow suit here because they look like idiots, although not as dumb as people defending them for free for some reason. A heh heh, heh.

Sure, and now they're paid advertisements half-hiding themselves as a "new section" with a big fuck-off message at the top of every page on the site. Which fucking sucks and probably doesn't need you running interference for it.

"No man but a blockhead ever expressed banal opinions about a type of meat, except for money"

The Moving Finger writes et cetera

From this we can deduce that Wendy's does not use Hormel bacon, truly the finest bacon ever to pay a Web site for movie dorks to pretend to like it.

Ha ha yes my friend, I also have many stories about how I make kids do things with bacon grease. *elbows ahead of article writer to cash massive novelty check from bacon company*

I always ask, "Why?" And the answer is, "The money," I know, but sometimes I wish it didn't work out that way. That's my story about this movie I'll never watch.

Look, everyone! A time-traveling headline!

Who cares

I fully support the claims of actors that they are not the characters they portray but instead actors.

True enough about the old "Spider-Man" theme being all anyone remembers. When movie Iron Man's cell phone beeped out the old "Iron Man" cartoon theme as its ringtone, it was closer to an inside joke than a reference.

I tried to go back and give that era of the books a good read, but it tried my patience enough for me to give up on the idea. Claremont wouldn't just leave plot threads hanging, he'd regularly introduce a boatload of new characters with their own plots every few months and do absolutely nothing with them.
