Well, it is a TV show. There was a real low ceiling put on that second movie's potential quality before they even started production.

So… I've been waiting sixteen years for Bryan Singer to make this movie about this character, and I'm still looking forward to seeing it, but man did that (real, not fan-made) trailer end on a stifled fart of a line.

It's an Evil Dead sort of humor that they went for sinkholes in Florida as the teaser for the next season, which are a thing, if you didn't know.
