"Into Darkness" rubbed me the wrong way because it re-staged scenes from another, better movie. I liked Bana's Nero as a new villain and enjoyed that movie, so I'm open-minded about the future of the series, and there is more than a suggestion in the trailer that the story will involve solving a sci-fi mystery on a

This series never had to adhere to superhero conventions, and I think it turned out far more interesting than its source material… but I'm longing for a few more traditional superhero conventions from some other angles.

I didn't grow up with them and I enjoyed this episode very much.

I loved this episode and the way it tilted the Simpsons story machine on its side. I can see how it's a little sour-tasting in hindsight, but at the time, the Simpsons didn't seem to be running low on ideas, at least not every week, or every other week. Season Nine had some clunker episodes but also some true classics.

the resurgence of a hostile Russia,

I don't know if it's accurate to call the Simpsons lumpen - guy works at a nuclear power plant, right? I only bring it up because Cletus and his family are for sure the locus of class panic on the show.

Hell yes, Harvey Fierstein & one of the high points of Season 2. "Because my mother taught me never to kiss a fool!" *kisses Homer on lips as music soars*

Good ol' Chapulin Colorado. "Más noble que una lechuga"

They didn't provide him with a young woman to assault, I guess.

What's wrong with that Beyond trailer again? It seems they're going to an unknown planet to discover something their people didn't know about beforehand. That's already about ten times more "Star Trek" than the other movies.

If you think "PC" is real, you're the problem. Same with "outrage generation". These are myopic right-wing backlashes to critique that has existed for decades at this point. And it's very, very good that it has.

Its CPU is a neuronet processor. A learning computer.

Garcia, I could kiss you for that last line.

Yeah, you seem like you get laid a lot

Squirtle McManus's Day in the Sun

I might. But the main reason I don't own a Wii U or a 3DS already is because I didn't want to pony up for a new system to keep playing MH3. Who knows, though…

Fixed.

I had fun with it by waiting until I had the TV-crazy character before I acted TV-crazy in my free time.

Fallout 4 has had plenty of funny moments for me so far, but that's because I tend to play Fallout games as a violent psychopath. The script has done a good job so far giving me those options, especially since I clearly don't give a damn about my kid as I build workfarms for my empire of fucked-up fruit & grain

This basic bitch liked Fallout 4, who's with me?
