Her real explanation is actually one of the sweetest things I've ever heard.

Can't believe they couldn't get Wyld Stallyns, the only answer I knew besides Hillman.

Papas Frias is creepy-lookiiin'…

Mine comes from the humorous juxtaposition of the title of a 2008 Nicholas Stoller film and the name of a famous character first introduced in a 1984 James Cameron film, hinging on "Sarah" being central to both names.

Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.

Benedict IX is my favorite: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…
He was 20 or younger upon his first election, he was pope on three nonconsecutive occasions, and he sold the papacy to Gregory VI.

Thank you, Sean and the whole AVC team!

As a kid, I tried to read Fellowship of the Ring and it bored the shit out of me. I'd read and enjoyed The Hobbit, although I found it slow. I've seen the LOTR movies (though it's been a few years on those, too) and I really appreciated them as beautiful and compelling, if overlong. I haven't seen any other Jackson.

As an example of suspension of disbelief and Realism in cinema, my professor always uses this movie as an example and says that no one goes, "Fuck this movie; there's no Hobbits in real life!" So I'm amused that you did find something in it that was too unrealistic. :)

I'd probably be the dark magenta little T because I fit in in more places than I expect.
