i don’t know what kind of metrics make a good actor or comedian, but he changed the way people use sarcasm in conversation. just by his delivery alone. like it or hate it, that’s what he did and that’s kinda extraordinary.

The source article noted that her health condition didn’t prevent her from drinking any caffeine, just that too much would/could be dangerous.

The added layer of problematic is that it’s not a specific mix in the stores, employees are combining the ingredients themselves to max batches which means the amount of caffeine actually in the drink can vary WILDLY depending on who prepares it.

What the fuck? How about Option C: as an Indigenous actor, she wanted go see this prestigious movie that features other Indigenous folks and then gave her genuine opinion on it. You misogynist psycho.

I think as a prominent Indigenous person in the entertainment industry, there’s a level of expectation for her to see it and provide her opinion on it. Even for people who don’t feel pressure as public figures, there’s often an expectation from others in your cultural group that you’re gonna watch that buzzy movie

The book is all about Tom White the FBI guy.  The movie is HEAVILY reworked perspective wise whichever I'd say is good.

The book is sort of bifurcated in that way - Hoover and what would become the FBI don’t come in until later, when the scope of the murders and lack of action by local or state police became evident and impossible to ignore. Bringing more of that part of the book into the film would have further diluted what was

the cheese blend is a step up from bagged stuff, too. The pita bread is made by hand and the chicken is battered in-house

“Ameilia” was a beautiful Louise story; for being someone so jaded at such a young age, it was a trip seeing her find her hero.

Uneventful.

The real-world explanation is that the character wasn’t created until 2008, so her existence is a retcon of sorts. The in-universe explanation is that (spoiler) she had already left the Order by the events of Revenge of the Sith (though we do get to see what she’s up to during that time).

It was a bummer when Ray Stevenson died. I’m even more bummed now watching this series play out. I want more Baylan. Him in this role is a glove in hand fit

Are you just not familiar with Star Wars at all? Ahsoka did not materialize from thin air. She was on television for over 12 years. And all of that was canon.

I thought it was a great episode, kept me entertained.

I feel about this show ending like I did Legends of Tomorrow ending, though the shows are nothing alike. I could be sad it is ending, but I would rather be happy that something so strange, wonderful, and beautiful exists at all.

I’m just not ready for this show to end.

Thought that dude sounded familiar.

You got way too mad about the “Far Far Away” thing.

a small but important correction: those are Elora’s half-siblings, aka siblings. Not step-siblings.

Every week I’m just going to wonder what we did to deserve this lovely show.
