Plus, I absolutely would not want to have to devote that much brain space to thinking about yogurt. Ever. Yogurt is fine. But I don’t care nearly that much about yogurt to devote my professional life to being the mouthpiece for Big Yogurt.
Yep, I am up and done w/work about an hour sooner than you so I am also used to eating early. Plus I lived with my dad through and after college for a while. Definitely got used to eating by 5:30. Now though when we go out he’s like “be here by 4 so we can go to the restaurant.” Daaaaaaad....
I’m replying sincerely and not to offend you, but your comment is hateful. It reflects more on the content of your character than hers, that you would choose to have sex with a woman who you find pitiful and have no respect for (see comment that you “just go with because she’s probably down for anything”). In more…
Yeah, this is not the job where you’re writing the copy that goes on the Chobani label. It’s crafting every message that leaves the C-suite, basically. For a large corporation, it should be paid somewhere in that ballpark. The more remarkable thing is that the job was advertised on LinkedIn at all. This is more of a…
If you have occasion to re-watch it, remember that she’s playing a thinly-disguised version of Cameron Diaz.
IMO the best pairing with pineapple on pizza isn’t ham, it’s jalapenos. Sweet heat is really nice. When I worked at Pizza Hut I used to make this awesome double decker thin crust. On thin crust skin add cheese and peperoni, next thing crust skin, pinch the edges together, sauce, cheese, more peperoni (you can use…
Mads Mikkelsen was the superior Hannibal Lecter. I will die on this hill.

It’s very different from the (usually VERY white) prestige dramas/dramedies we see that have consistent, logical narratives that follow individuals on their own paths.
Whenever we see people on individual journeys in Rez Dogs, it’s almost always finding them confused, in pain, etc. The community is the entire point -…
I’m gonna say this and it’s going to sound very stupid, so forgive me. But the strength of this show isn’t that they’re making it for you. They’re making it for themselves.
So they’re allowed to do what they want, unforgivingly, and devoting an entire episode to Rita is something they wanted to do. And I’m here for it.
T…
The episodes with the aunties are always standouts & I definitely think this one was. I loved how happy Cookie was when she found out that Elora is going to college
I think the adult-centered episodes are crucial. This is not just a show about teens, it’s about generations and community. The choices made (by adults), the choices in the air (for the kids), and the choices that still remain for everyone.
I’m sort of in the same boat. I did vegetarian for about a year once, but found I was happier with a bit more balance. So I switched to Mediterranean/plant based with occasional meat and that was great for me. I make a bit more meat now that I’m cooking for my parents (picky dad) as well. But I’m slowly pulling them…
What stores need to do is eliminate scanning at checkout altogether. For a while Kroger had a system where you could scan your items with your phone into an app and had dedicated handheld scanners if you didn’t want to use the app. It was amazing! I had my bags setup in my cart, scanned each item as I picked it up and…
I prefer self-checkout for one reason, and one reason only: there is one line for self-check and it doesn’t slow down for the one person who has a problem.
Yeah, that makes sense. Since a lot of them are on the stickers, it would be kinda crazy to have different stickers codes for every store.
I’ve never worked in a store and I know lemons are 4053 and white onions are 4336. It’s quicker to punch in the number on the scale that prints the barcode labels than to navigate through the menus and select.
It’s generational ignorance in my area: When I was a kid I got made fun of for liking to read because parents told their kids that smart people became farmers or truck drivers and didn’t need to read.
I’m not sure this is common knowledge, but any self-check I’ve used recognizes produce codes, which are showing on quite a few items (especially apples, and anything wrapped in a bundle) - punching in a 4-digit (or 5 if you’ve got something organic, so it’s got the 9 tacked on front) number is quicker than looking…
