For me it’s my ad blocker. If I turn off the ad blocker, it shows up. Along with a bunch of ads, of course.

I’ve caught myself using her “oh, that’s wild!” phrase that’s designed to not be too negative even while being hilariously negative and spitting something out. It’s a less subjective insult somehow.

As long as Sister Michael is included, I’m in.

Yeah, the ABC show was rough. “Let’s make The Muppets into The Office” was a bad idea.

I enjoyed Muppets Now, but I really don’t know what’s preventing them from...just doing the Muppet Show again, with the hokey vaudeville theater, the silly skits and music numbers, and the exasperated guest stars, without trying to put some sort of high concept spin on it. It was a good formula! It worked! It’s the

As bummed as I am to say goodbye to a show and characters I love, I always respect it when creators place quality over quantity and bow out after having told the story they wanted to tell.

I can only think of folks who tanked their careers by turning into right-wing shitbags

Love the coverage, and especially love the very well-thought-out criticism of Probst’s performative bullcrap that redirects the anger of conservative lunatics onto a player rather than himself as he tries to stir up controversy and get publicity and headlines. (That renews my nasty suspicion that someone in production

Whew, mercy, it seems some folks have VERY intense feelings about this show. However, as they say, “get woke, go broke” so probably gonna be some very dismal ratings this year, ESPECIALLY since they seem to think viewers need even more “let’s continue to panic over Covid” television to watch, ffs.

I don’t know, I watch a lot of shows and movies where people in their late 20’s are playing teenagers and even from the trailer something about Platt here felt extra off? I think the deliberate attempts to make him look younger ended up making him look older than he actually is in a way that just leaving it alone

I think you guys are harping way too much on Ben Platt’s age. It’s common practice to cast adults to play teenagers, mostly due to child labor laws during filming. Watching the trailer, really no one other than Evan’s dorky friend and Zoe look remotely age-appropriate. I’ve mentioned it before, but there’s a clip in

Our cat Harvey adores chewing up paper and plastic. You can’t leave a newspaper around him.

I have to give a standing ovation to that header picture. That pug’s face says it ALL.

As far as chain restaurants making an honest effort at a specialty meat product, I’m much more inclined to try this from Chipotle than other fast food or fast casual options.

Woman in loveless marriage finds comfort in the researcher of one of her greatest contributions to culture and thus one of the only other people at the time who could possibly recognize and appreciate them? Gee, nothing potentially understandable or human in that.

Hot take: if your first response to the idea of a woman

Yeah it’s pricey, and there’s a lot of things I’d rather spend that booze money on. But there’s not really anything else like it, truly unique. I’m glad I got a bottle and I never intend to get one again.

One of my dogs loves to eat cicadas. They’re usually dead, but once he ate a live one and his reaction when it started screaming was hilarious.

It seems deer poop, in the late winter and early spring, is also a delicacy to both of my dogs. They leave it alone the rest of the time.

mid 80s: rectangular pizza with the little “meat” pellets on it. I was never sure if they were pepperoni or sausage. you could soak 4 paper napkins with the grease sitting on the top of one. I got 2 slices every day.

My understanding (based on others who have tried it) is more or less what you said: It’s more of a flex by Sam Adams than anything else. It’s a really interesting, unique product, but no one is going after it when they’re craving a beer.
