Gross.
Gross.
I’m a little uncomfortable with calling latinx people “white” even if when caucasian. I’m similarly uncomfortable with calling Jews “white.” I think the test is if Orville down in Alabama with his dirty Klan robes thinks you’re white. If you’re a minority on somebody’s liquidation list, even if you’re way down it, I…
A new generation of coffee drinkers wanted what they wanted and were willing to pay for it. A cup of Joe from the office pot was no longer acceptable.
There does kind of seem to be a difficult double standard that ‘minority’ representation has to be meet.
I knew it during season 2 when I looked up the writers on imdb. That info was there during season 1, too, I just didn’t look. And I’m not paid to write about the show. If I was paid to write a long article about how much I love the writing and how authentic it is to the Korean-Canadian experience (which this author…
It was an easy b, and it was wonderful. Not everything has to be a fucking transcendent show to be valuable. And the reality is, the stories coming out are deeply disheartening.
Went to a Mexican food place near us to have a margarita and some restaurant chips and salsa. Let me tell you, nothing tasted so damn good.
I came here to mention Tortas Frontera. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they have you covered with something delicious. And beer!
This is a huge bummer, if refreshingly and necessarily honest and give no fucks.
Brick Bic.
This is, indeed, the correct answer. (Esp. that choriqueso torta, oh lordy...)
T3 Frontera is my go-to!
I had an excellent breakfast pizza at Midway in the A terminal food court at Woodgrain. The new food court there is super, with very comfortable seating, but the breakfast pizza was bomb. There’s also a Reilly’s Daughter there, but I’m not sure if it’s an additional location or if the one at the back right when you…
I’m planning a trip to WDW in early 2023 and am going to Disneyland in 2 weeks...just wanted to say thanks to the writer for actually liking WDW! Everytime I see an article in the Kinjaverse about WDW or DL, it’s always so freaking snarky. And snobby. And elitist. So thank you.
Montco represent! We used to drive to Dorney as teens in the 80's. Always a lot of fun.
Been a couple years since I’ve gone but Dorney’s still good. Hershey kinda has the benefit of going into the town proper for “real” food, though.
You have to ask, but usually there is plenty of interesting stuff on the lounge menus so I rarely bother.
WDW has some of the best in the business working at their restaurants. Skip the obvious “family” type spots - unless you have youngsters and ask a passholder or cast member what the hot spots/dishes/drinks are - they change pretty frequently.
We’ve only gone in non-pandemic times, and mobile ordering has saved our ass from lines more than once, especially if you just want a damn mac and cheese dog from Casey’s or some booze from Woody's but don’t want to stand in line for 20 minutes just to order.
Most people will tell you to ONLY hit Be Our Guest for dinner if you want to meet Beast, who is extremely rare in the parks. Go for lunch only when it’s a QSR because dinner is overpriced as hell for the food quality- same with Cinderella’s.
