It might be a bit old school, but Berghoff Cafe (at ORD) has a great corned beef sandwich. There’s rarely a line and the bar is perfect for a bite and pre-flight beer.

Yes. If I have a stop in Chicago, I go here. It’s the most consistent and best tasting airport food. I’ve introduced many coworkers to Tortas Fronteras.

Tortas Frontera is the only correct answer. I actually look forward to eating a meal at ORD before leaving because Tortas Frontera exists.  Publican is fine, but if the choice is Publican or Tortas Frontera, it’s no contest.

That take is not at all hot. It’s 100% precisely correct. Deep Dish != thick crust. ‘Thick’ crust is describing Scicilian, Detroit, ‘grandma’ and other pan pizza styles where you have, to varying degrees, focaccia as a crust with sauce, cheese and toppings on it in various configurations. The key point being, you let

Quite the list of accomplishments!

Oh God, the casserole thing.

I love nacho cheese sauce.  Sure, there’s probably no trace of real cheese in it, but it tastes good and stays gooey on chips much longer than melted cheddar, jack, etc. Taco Bell has the best nacho cheese sauce. Mmm!

People who claim not to like deep dish are just doing it to be provocative, contrarian, and provincial and are trying way to hard to be edgy.

I will loudly and obnoxiously defend Chicago Deep Dish Pizza against any and all comers including Jon Stewart.

I didn’t put it all on at once during the quarantine, so I don’t expect to lose it all it once either. For me, it was not being able to go to my gym on a regular basis (and, eating like crap because hey, the world was on fire). But, getting back into a regular gym schedule and eating better will eventually put me back

“Could it be that we’re offering subpar wages and no benefits and forcing our staff to interact with unpleasant people in situations detrimental to their mental and physical health, and possibly exposing them and their families to a deadly and highly contagious disease?

There’s not really going to be an end in the sense that the virus will never disappear. There will always be a lot of unvaccinated people in the United States and some of them will always be spreading this virus. Maybe at significantly lower levels than today, but they’ll be there.

People said the same thing about allergies. In my day, you didn’t hear about all these kids with food allergies. Well no. They died before you met them. People with severe food aversions didn’t go to other people’s houses. Kids with food aversions were told they were being bad and were punished. My household is

Cheerios, I forgot about the Cheerios. (I typically only make this in November and December.)

Depends on the who’s working, and what store. At Subway, I usually toss in free cookies for the nicer late-night customers since they have to be trashed anyway, but I have to write them off as waste. If the owner sees me wasting-off a dozen cookies, my ass is grass...just be happy with the free cookie, don’t be an

Crispix holds it’s crunch far better than Chex imo.
