There’s a smallish chain of brick-oven pizza places in the burbs that has both a more traditional Neopolitan and a New Haven style. I haven’t tried the NH style, but might be interesting to compare the two.

agreed.
Yes! I’m quite sure that’s what he meant, not that they were the same height.
“since 2017"
Smashed burgers may be all over California, but they are not a “California style”. They seem to have been invented in Kentucky, and there is a small but iconic chain in Chicagoland/Northern Indiana (Schoops) that’s been around since 1948 that serves a classic lacy-edged smashburger.
I don’t know if Great North has quite surpassed Bob’s Burgers, but I do love them both. It’s an excellent addition to the lineup and a perfect pairing with Bob’s.
Even in the small rural Indiana town my mom grew up in they had Mexican, though it was nothing special. The town she lives in now is about 20% Latino and they have legit great food.
Even out here in the burbs we have a lot of great Mexican food. We eat it a lot. I really miss 5 Rabbit, though.
I use a heel from a loaf of bread, which is how my mom always did it.
For bacon, I’ve been cutting mine in half and stashing the rest for like a decade. But the key is to cover the cut half, then put it all in a freezer bag with the air squeezed out; you can freeze it easily like that. Defrosted bacon isn’t quite as good as fresh, but from there I usually cut it into smaller bits to…
Yeah I think that’s supposed to be a picture of the chef and not the pizza? I hope
Actually the tip amounts are in 50-cent increments, although the overall point remains.
Can you tell Sam Ang that above?
Joke’s on you, I don’t have kids! But if I did, I’m pretty sure I’d be an awesome parent ;)
I’ve had both, can confirm.
Okay, have fun fucking up your kids’ relationship to food for the rest of their lives, sheesh.
It’s kind of the soda version of Malort. Herbal and bitter.
Not to sound too critical, but this is something that was always available if you customized your drink - neither hazelnut syrup nor oatmilk are new additions.
it also sounds like they’re a little tough to eat, between the potato chunks falling apart and sticking to the cardboard. I feel like shredded potato would work better in this instance.
I also love potatoes just in general :)
