While you’re not wrong, context is important - none of those things alone (or even together) are necessarily bad signs, it’s those things happening after a period of depression and low mood and not getting help for it. So if someone has been down, depressed, etc for a while and then suddenly seems to do a 180, yes, it…
Nicest modern/public bathroom I’ve been in was in the shiny new Kansas City airport; it was all-gender, all stalls, with occupancy lights and no-peek partitions, a sign at the front indicating how many open stalls there were, and just nice clean sinks and faucets.
I love this show and am glad for a little more White Jesus.
In this case it was Waititi and Harjo’s choice, they announced it and it wasn’t canceled as far as I can tell.
Holiday World is in Santa Claus, Ind. and it was originally called Santa Claus Land. The current sections are Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. So actually I lied, most of the part is fall/winter. The Fourth of July section is the biggest, though.
Half the park is about fall/winter holidays!
I’ve only been there once, but it’s definitely a bit underrated, very clean, great rides and yes - free unlimited soft drinks and sunscreen. No sunburn and no dehydration!
From my brother and I watching Pee-Wee’s Playhouse together (Laurence freaking Fishburne!!) and Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure to Flight of the Navigator, he was such a part of my childhood. And then of course kind of re-discovering him from Mystery Men to 30 Rock to his guest spot on What We Do in the Shadows... what a loss…
I come at this from a very casual standpoint - my husband played the games and read (some of?) the books, he’s much more into high fantasy than I am. I knew the basic story and characters from seeing him play the games. And I’ve enjoyed the show, for the most part; Henry Cavill was definitely born to play Geralt and I…
This is interesting and all but you spent no actual time on the food - tell me about that burger, for instance!?
You don’t have to like Che, but they are nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. Which is also true for the actor.
It honestly really depends. The Boardwalk restaurants are not the best. Some hotels have great restaurants, some are just OK. The only place I would say you can’t go wrong at all is any of the World Showcase restaurants except US :P
The food has improved a lot in the last 20 years. It’s not ALL good, but there’s a lot more good food than there used to be. Epcot and Animal Kingdom stand out. It certainly is overpriced, but that’s theme park food for ya.
Haven’t tasted it yet, couldn’t tell you :P
Thing is, a single Dole Whip at the park will run you $7 easily. $2/cup is not cheap, but given the price of everything going up, it’s not totally unreasonable.
I found the show moderately entertaining, but yeah, it often was postponing the inevitable - the problems most of these restaurants had ran a lot deeper than just needing a makeover.
Boundaries are for yourself, not for others. If his boundary is “I don’t want to date a woman who posts photos of herself in swimsuits or surfing with men” then he should have fucking dated a professional surfer.
I don’t think I’ve bought the tenders yet, but I can attest that their popcorn chicken is also very good - way better than Perdue!
very true.
