We’ve only ever been through the drive-thru but the chicken fingers and fries are pretty tasty. And they are very strong LGBTQ advocates unlike a different chicken chain...
Watching the door close on Roy and Jamie, I said “they’re fucking idiots” a half second before Roy said it.
I hope so because the alternative is worse
Oh give me a fucking break, 2005 wasn’t the dark ages. That’s no excuse.
I mean, he said more or less the right things; it’s hard to know if he believes it or if it will make any difference. Cuse’s response was just awful, though, basically accusing them all of lying.
I wouldn’t want this in my cold coffee drinks, specifically because it is fast-melting. In Key West when you buy an iced cafe con leche from Cuban Coffee Queen, they put a couple of giant cubes of frozen coffee (!!) in your drink, so even as it melts, the flavor is not diluted.
The whole thing is kind of a talk-sing thing. I am not weighing in on how good or bad the song is, just correcting the title :P
I am a Soul Coughing fan but never knew this existed!
My husband is 1000% the kind of person who wanted to do this, but was a little balky at the price tag. It wasn’t out of reach for us but is definitely a lot for two nights, and I wasn’t super interested personally. We were talking about this last night and the problem as we see it is that
The basic coffee frappuccino is still a bit more than just coffee, milk, sugar and ice - there’s a base coffee syrup used in all of the coffee frappuccinos that contains a few thickeners, citric acid and flavorings plus sugar. The Shawn Mullins song is called “Lullaby” not Rockabye.
I remember having McDonald’s pizza somewhere in northern Indiana in ... probably late 80s/early 90s? My memory is fuzzy but I’m sure I didn’t wait 16 minutes for it and it would have been personal sized. We would’ve been somewhere between Goshen and the Ohio state line, and that’s about all I can remember.
Yes, I read over that, so what?
I think a lot of food pantries have moved to that model, because as you allude to, it’s wasteful for folks to get things they can’t or won’t eat. I can see putting limits on high-value items (e.g. one pkg of ground beef per person or whatever) but otherwise that makes way more sense to me than just “here’s a bag of…
I tried some of these last year. They were tasty, but I really wanted more. I feel like I could just bake some myself (coat with a mixture of butter/oil and Old Bay) and get them toasty.
I felt this way about Pan’s Labyrinth. Gorgeously shot, dark as HELL, even more viscerally violent than I was expecting. Glad I saw it, never again.
I’m all for a glass of bourbon but that is no longer a cocktail :)
I believe there is/was a Grand Lux Cafe in Chicago, so I’ve heard of it; the rest of them ... not a clue.
It was almost certainly still Alanis (I recognize her singing voice) but might have been a new/different remix - I haven’t compared it with the previous version just yet.
