Parchment paper is literally paper with a fine coat of silicone on it. Like, that’s what defines parchment paper. I’m not saying one brand can’t be better than another, but I’d be surprised if some of them didn’t have silicone on them.

I rarely stop in convenience stores anymore but thanks for the tip :)
I take coffee with me to work and chew gum afterward to freshen my breath and not have coffee mouth all morning. My husband often picks it up for me on his weekly Target runs and he tells me the state of gum flavors is “dire”. So this isn’t a huge surprise.
A brewery near us has a stout they originally called Bob Ross Did It; after what I can only assume were calls or letters from lawyers it is now called Rob Boss Did It.
Nando’s Peri Peri has it nationally, too.
That’s good to hear, but I think in general the bloom is off the rose anyway. It was something I got into with my husband and I don’t feel like we’ve lost much by leaving it behind.
We stopped watching Survivor after the sexual harassment BS - I just couldn’t handle it anymore, despite all the mealymouthed reassurances about changes coming.
History aside, it’s fascinating to me how some TV shows get made very quickly and others languish for ages.
I mean, I try to keep things like potato chips and cookies to a minimum (although I don’t believe any food is truly “bad” except maybe ones with real ethics problems) but for me, small high protein or high-fiber snacks help keep my blood sugar up and keep me going. And sometimes I don’t feel like assembling or cooking…
but what if you don’t want to? I don’t know if it qualifies as a rat snack, but I’ve definitely piled cheese curds, pickles and an apple on a plate.
Jimmy is honestly making pretty realistic progress, and if you think about his introduction..,yeah he’s come a long way.
Are there really no copy editors to catch that it’s “If You Don’t Know Me by Now” by Simply Red?
I’ve made parmesan crisps to put on top of burgers by just piling a bunch of cheese in a dry skillet, it’s so good.
Yeah, it was a popular choice for me and my college friends on road trips - cheap, reliable, tasty enough.
I will grant you that it has been probably 15 years since I’ve been inside one, but the ones I’ve been to all looked like diners - register up front, counter to sit at, booths and tables next to that, with a “seat yourself” or “please wait to be seated” sign. Drive through yes, but the single register up front looked…
I’m not following -- if you’ve been to one, wouldn’t you know they had table service?
I think I first saw her on Charmed, but yeah, she was still pretty early in her career at that point
I’m so sorry for everything you’ve been through. Solidarity.
the Anzellans (Babu Friks) were speaking an entirely different language at first; they switched to Basic (English) after Mando asked about Huttese. The joke was that yes, Greef kept “translating”.
I guess it would smell nice but I have no interest in eating or drinking anything while I’m in the *shower*. Beer, oranges, whatever.
