Our nearby AMC has been a “Dine-In” theater for years, at least a decade? with pretty solid entrees, though they are overpriced of course. food usually arrives during the previews. I dunno, we liked it because we could combine dinner and a movie - but I haven’t been in a movie theater since Dec. 2019.

I snagged a box of Strawberry Baby Bundts recently, and they were tasty. Smaller than I expected, and definitely had that processed snack-food taste, but the flavor was good. Would try others.

I live in DuPage County, IL - not near a Woodman’s, though - and we used to have an Ultra Foods in my town that I hated with every fiber of my being. It was just the worst shopping experience, from poor layout, overpriced, bad produce, indifferent staff and even the self-checkout was poorly designed. I was actually

I haven’t seen Luca yet but Turning Red was GREAT.

Yes, I agree, that is a much better idea than buying single-serve disposable bottled water. It’s what I would do if I didn’t have better longer-term options.

yeah, all illusions of privacy in this day and age are pretty much just that.

8o t0 100 recipes might be overstating it a bit — the basic formula for a hot latte, for instance, is syrup or sauce, espresso, milk, toppings. Which syrups or sauces will vary, of course, and intense customization might require you to remember that this one has 2 syrups and an extra topping, but the order is the

I don’t have the app, thank god, that’s creepy. But I do shop at our local Mariano’s weekly and use the loyalty card. And they send very specific coupons in the mail, which I’ve always both appreciated to an extent and been a little creeped out by (because it’s almost always things I’ve purchased in the last two

It’s a scam regardless - get a filter faucet or pitcher.

Not sure where you shop but the 1-gallon jugs are typically around $1-$1.20 - you might still save a penny or two an ounce for a bulk pack of individual bottles, but it’s a ton more plastic. Still, definitely recommend a faucet filter.

There are a lot more filtered bottle filling stations than there used to be, that’s for sure. I avoid single-use bottles as much as possible.

Time to get a filtered faucet or pitcher, or at least buy the big gallon jugs.

The best thing to do is use a reusable bottle and fill it from bottle filling stations. They are much more prevalent than they used to be, but unfortunately, they’re still not everywhere. Second best thing to do is gallon jugs, because at least you’re not wasting plastic 20 oz at a time. Also, if your home water is

I feel like I’ve heard that yeah. I don’t object to anchovy (or any fish) but like... it’s not not meat...

“cheese and anchovy (no meat)

Yes, exactly. Though the chances of me being in Texas to try them for myself are pretty slim, so maybe I’ll just go get some Gene & Jude’s.

Those fries LOOK really good, I’m surprised to hear they’re not well liked.

I think Marge should just be a single mom, honestly; you’re right that there seem to be a deficit of good men in Springfield.

Ugh no Homer has almost no redeeming qualities - he loves Marge, okay, but he’s terrible at his job, a lousy dad, a mediocre husband. He doesn’t clean or cook or help with the kids hardly at all. It’s been shown time and again that Marge is much smarter and more competent. She deserves better.

I was gonna say, that’s the first one I knew of (my in-laws used to live down there) and I’m pretty sure it closed.
