The show plays fast and loose with our perceptions of things through Elliot's eyes, but if they can just make an established character actually be a hallucination whenever, that is just perverse and dumb.

whenever I see the name "Portia", I mentally see a carnival-like sign saying "You must be this albino to be named Portia".

We've been through this with the Iran thing - nuclear material for a power plant cannot just be shoved into a bomb. There is like 10x difference in purity.

What the heck is a "dwelling"?

If he is straight, tell him he should watch for Joanna Wellick.

I like the subversion of the "ethical person compromises their ethics to gain temporal power" trope by the fact that she is pretty incompetent at everything she does.

I hate it when people designate someone as the "moral compass" or the "heart" of a show.

reminds me of this old video

Question: did Elliot/Mr. Robot make sexy with Joanna? I couldn't tell if she was being seductive or threatening after he rebuffed her?

Also, she stood up while the ninja biker guy was still firing.

There was music?

I don't know if it's a conscious choice by the actress, but everytime she is talking with anyone I get the impression she is about to burst into tears.

Dom's arc seems to obviously figure out all the corrupt bureaucracy stopping her from doing her real job (her boss, the Nuclear Reg people, etc), and make the decision whether she is Chaotic Good or Lawful Neutral

Question - how did everything get pinned on Tyrell at the end of last season?

I guess YMMV, butI really enjoy the cinematography and visual framing of this show so much, and I usually tend to not notice/care about those kinds of things.

Good call on the Godfather kiss.

I got distracted by Cisco berating Darlene for not taking the dude to the hospital, when Cisco dragged the guy back to his own shitty apartment (presumably far away from swanky lawyer's house) instead of…. taking him to the hospital.

CGI

It would explain Joanna Wellick's pansexuality.
