Warm take: I saw the original several decades ago, and remember very little about other than it was overlong and sort of a mess. If Hollywood wants to take the name and use it to showcase ScarJo and a bunch of awesome special effects, they certainly have my blessing.

Oh, dear lord, that is good. "Your delts, your tris, your plaps…"

I was going to ask: how is the Daily Show now? Haven't watched in years, but Trevor Noah always seemed more likable than really funny. Has he found a groove? Has the show found a post-Stewart voice?

You live in a very strange moral universe. You know that those loopholes are generally put there in service to the powerful interests that request them, right? It's not like the loophole fairy just drops them randomly all over the tax code, for any wily person to take advantage of.

I actually did spatchcock a chicken for the first time a few weeks ago and, yes, it was really easy to do. It cooked up quickly and deliciously. I don't think roasting a chicken the regular way is all that hard either, but spatchcocking works quite well.

Went into The Raid extremely excited and left slightly underwhelmed. Maybe expectations were raised too high? I pretty much assumed I was going to have my brain scrambled by what I saw.

I'm not in the least bit infuriated. I really don't know what inspired your comment, so I guess I would describe myself as mildly confused. I think maybe you misread something I wrote, but also I don't really care very much.

Hang on, are you talking about Tila Tequila, the social media personality, or Tila Tequila the famed astrophysicist? Because your answer will make a big difference…

Speaking for exactly one liberal, I really really really don't care about 6-day-a-week postal service.

I honestly have no idea what you mean with this comment, so just a word of friendly advice: the word you're looking for is "equates." Equivocation refers to waffling or using intentionally ambiguous language in an attempt to avoid commitment.

I really thought Trump could afford better trolls than this. Making fun of someone's name isn't a racial slur, you dumb fuck.

Jesus Christ, delete your account

Also, Bette Midler and Shelley Long did it in 1987, and no one seemed to mind.

To me it played as more of a thriller with some horror elements, but I guess the definition gets pretty loose around the edges. People call Silence of the Lambs a horror film.

Looks interesting. Added to my list.

Thanks! I want to read Oscar and Lucinda before seeing the movie.

Where did all the abs go? Alexander Skarsgård has them. He has all the abs.

I recently read The True History of the Kelly Gang, and I am ready to watch the hell out of any movie set in Australia in the 1800s. Very excited about this.

Yeah, I'm sort of amazed too. And I don't think this is in any way their fault (or that there's anything wrong with taking sexy photos of oneself, for that matter), and the people who do this are scum. But I still can't help thinking that if I were in their position, I'd put a piece of electrician's tape over my

Wow, that seems like a reach. Especially as the sequence your wife is talking about is possibly the most beautiful in any Pixar movie.
