I dunno, I think the backlash to Gervais has gone too far. The Office isn't just a very funny television show — it's possibly the best funny television show. And it doesn't get there just by having some good jokes in it. From start to finish, it's sort of perfect.

Another thing that bothers me about the MCU is that it's boring and dumb, and tries to make us care about a world in which indestructible gamma ray monsters and really good archers and literal gods somehow team up and chase stupid rocks around the universe.
