First, I don't think the reviews have all been of the salting-of-the-earth variety.  Haven't the last few got high C's or low B's?

Are there any critics that like this show?  Not just on the AV Club, but anywhere?  I haven't read anything positive beyond, "Meh."  I'm of the opinion that the Newsroom is objectively bad, and would be shocked, and very interested, to read a cogent defense of it.

There's only a few roles left worthy of a big name.  Victarion and Connington are the only ones that come to mind.  I kinda think they might be able to leave out Damphair.

I actually went to that a few years ago when I was visiting friends in Atlanta.  Nailed the 'What's Marge's mom's first name?' question, but blew the lead because I couldn't remember the name of Troy McClure's reunion of Chevy Chase's talk show.  Came in a humiliating third.

I suspect we'll get a little of his 'interactions' with a pre-broken Theon.  They can't just sit Alfie Allen on the sidelines til 2015.
