I suspect we'll get a little of his 'interactions' with a pre-broken Theon. They can't just sit Alfie Allen on the sidelines til 2015.

During the Super Bowl, I posted a snarky comment about Madonna on Facebook. I was fucking shocked that so many of my friends like her. Needless to say, any portrayal of her this unflattering gets an A in my book. Fuck Kabbala and fake English accents.

What I mean by contrived is the gag of "We think the insane/evil one is the one we don't know, but in fact, it's the one we know." It's an easy joke and one they've made before with the first Flexo episode.

Yes, Farnsworth being the insane kid is a little contrived, but the sane Farnsworth being kicked to the curb or killed by Bender and everyone dismissing that piece of information? Worth it.

J.P. McPickleshitter, setting aside the philandering, his medical issues at the time should have disqualified him. Between the Addison's and the back problems, it's hard to rationalize a President being high on painkillers and whatever else he was taking for extended periods of time.

The difference is that Weiner resigned while Vitter, Frank, Charlie Rangel, etc, didn't. If Weiner had stuck it out, no pun intended, and kept his head down, he would be up for reelection in a few months and might've won.

The format of News Night takes all the urgency away from her argument about the debt ceiling. She first brought it up six months prior to this episode. There's no reason they couldn't have been talking about it in the weeks before the Casey Anthony stuff, or in the remaining half of the show. What else was on that…

Of all the ways that conversation could have gone, they went with the absolute worst.

A little off-topic, but I was listening to the newest TVOTI podcast and TVDW mentioned that when people say they've been enjoying the Newsroom, he's fairly certain they're watching a different show than he is, like he doesn't understand how a person could enjoy it in the face of its many, many flaws. I feel similarly…
