There may have been more to the story, but the opinion I formed in the first episode "Entitiled dumbass who thinks he's smarter than everyone does something monumentally stupid" wasn't challenged or changed. So it was a dull season, nothing shocking or surprising.

Sigh, and remember how terrifying the Grounders were in S1? Even with rifles, the 100 were totally outnumbered and in trouble. Now a group of 10 Arkadians can slaughter 300 of them without a scratch.

I'm saying the goal is to bring more viewers by doing something big and shocking (it's a stunt), so Aaron doesn't accomplish that goal.

Fair enough. It's one thing to chat with writers on a personal level, it's another thing for them to actively enjoin fan communities.

SPOILER:

I agree it won't likely be a woman, the social media outrage would be way too intense and dangerous. Not sure that Abraham or Eugene are saf, plotlines have a way of being shuffled around on this show.. Aaron is too minor of a character to have a big impact.

100% agree. I also fast forwarded this one. Though, most "special 90 minute episodes" are fast forward worthy (exception for Morgan's "fun in the cabin" episode which was actually pretty great.)

"who's the beloved character casualty this time?" has that same echo of Battlestar's "Final Five", a concept that transcended the show in to social media, and (in my opinion) overwhelmed and destroyed a pretty decent narrative.

Part of the trouble is that the writers THEMSELVES are engaging, rather than leaving it to Social Media people, who might better know how to navigate these things.

Not to mention The 100 pulls, what, 0.5 in the ratings. NO ONE would choose to be on The 100 vs the juggernaut that is the Walking Dead franchise.

One thing The 100 does really well is posit the idea of groups within groups, and changing/fluid groupings. One thing it does poorly is carry through with them.

The 100 uses its characters to serve the plot, always has. They do weird, 180 turns all the time. The fans should be outraged about that instead.

He won me over in the episode where Bob was teaching Home Ec.

Man, this episode was a chore to watch. Just dull. The ending was about the only interesting moment. Okay, I guess Todd hooking up with everyone was not bad, but every scene with Tandy was painful.

"This was one of the season's best episodes" and "B-" are both correct.

Word, it was one of the opening salvos in the "characters who only service the plot" war.

Well, this show has always wanted to be LOST, Murphy has taken on the Ben role (beating-wise).

Better? BETTER? Betttttter? It would be BETTER? Yep, Better times. -Rob Schrab

If you listen to Harmontown, this should come as no surprise. The man is a verifiable mess.

Peter also said he could barely close his hand when he was voted out. These infections are NASTY.
