Or at least, have the film end with R2 waking up, and then a quick shot of a hooded Jedi cocking his head, lowering his cowl, cut to black.

I just wish was either a) Interesting b)likeable c)did something of value. He was dead weight in this film.
Leia knew Obi-Wan.
" This late in the game, the dialogue is still noticeably bad. Not prequel-bad, but bad."
He spent a lot of the film being old Harrison, but there were a few lines where Solo showed.
Nonsense, he stopped a god-damned phaser blast in MID-AIR, and put Rey to sleep with a wave of his hand.
They could have made this "The Adventures of Rey", and I'd have bneen happy. Finn was boring as hell, and also not necessary.
OR, some people loved it and other hate it. It is possible, you know.
The Other Guys is great. Lots of funny, quirky, weird shit mixed in with an actual message (and a killer infographic closing credits.) I can rewatch it over and over.
JJ is good, some episodes are REALLY good. But it never became "OMG NEED TO SEE THE NEXT ONE:" I think the concept is better than the production of that concept. Ritter as best performance? please, don't make me laugh.
I'll take this one on. I saw AoU at home, and I'm not sure if it was because of all the hype, or the film itself but, it was…..dull. Not amazing, not groundbreaking, barely even interesting. The best scene in the film was the farmhouse scene between Renner and Cardellini, because, well… acting. The rest of the movie…
I met him as well, through a comic convention activity. He struck me as being waaaaaaay more interested in acting than in any celebrity surrounding BSG etc.
I don't buy it. I saw Staw Wars when I was 6, it was my LIFE when I was a child. Now I'm in my 40s, and while it holds a special place in my heart, I'm able to see it objectively. And 10/10? Don't make me laugh.
Daredevil was meh at best. JJ was better, but nothing to write home about.
It may be a critical favorite, but my wanting to punch Aziz Ansari in the face every time he's on the screen precludes me from watching it.
Yet another "We asked 39 people what they thought" article. AV Club, ask like, I dunno, 7 people. Nobody's pouring over this article to see what every single person thought.
Fair enough. I still don't see the point. Needs to be edited mercilessly. It's like "Top 100" lists. People read the bottom 20, scroll quickly through the middle, then read the top 20.
I find the Flash cast enjoyable to watch (sans Iris). Arrow leaves me cold, especially Oliver himself. He's pretty much unlikeable.
Serious question: Did ANYONE actually read that entire article? I still don't understand why the AV Club insists on providing essay length articles like this where countless people provide 10 or more items. It's overkill. If you're polling that many people, it's a top 3 at most. No one is pouring over this thing to…
How many reviews are non-fanboi at this point? Spectre started at high 80s and dropped like a rock over the first two weeks.
