Yeah, 8 seasons! It came out of the gate with tons of (well-deserved, I think) buzz. And then after about 4 years, it limped across the finish line.

Seasons 1-4 are excellent. (Season 2 got some flack for too much separation of the ladies, but I still think it's a great season.) Seasons 5-8 are really spotty, although season 8 recaptured a bit of the magic of the show.
I would like to say that I am opposed to the Parks & Rec time-jump for somewhat superficial reasons: For a show that contains characters who rely heavily on pop culture (Tom, Donna, even Craig), a three year time jump is going to be awkward. Are they going to just avoid those characters mentioning anything that is…
Yeah. That was kind of horrible. Anything after season 4 is just lame. But there has never been a more annoying kid character/actor than Mike and Susan's son.
Spoilers ahead in my reply, I guess? For people who haven't seen season 5? Whatever, it's been off the air forever.
I don't know if the time-jump is wholly to blame, but season 5 of Desperate Housewives was the worst season of the show's run. An incredibly lazy "mystery" that everyone solved within a couple of episodes, lazy plots, a complete lack of respect for characters (Katherine, who was so much icy goodness in season 4, just…
I watch the eps a week later than airing, so I'm late to the party here. I wasn't bothered by the retconning of Abe's war career but I was kind of upset that Uter showed up out of the blue. I loved the ongoing joke that Uter had mysteriously disappeared/died under the school's watch. Not upset enough to dwell on in…
No one's mentioned the magic of Aidy Bryant, so I'm going to do that right now. I love her balls-out willingness to go a little uncomfortable. She's sassy and hilarious and was pretty much the only person who could make, "Hey, my flute amp . . ." an exceptionally funny line. And she and Kate McKinnon have written…
What fresh hell is this? This looks way more like an NBC line-up. What a difference a couple years can make.
As someone from Kansas, I love this film for its laughable portrayal of the Wichita airport. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but it's less a glass and steel wonder of architecture and more of a Quality Inn lobby.
You know, I bought the last couple seasons on Amazon on Demand/Prime because I just couldn't wait long enough for the DVDs to come out. I was a little disappointed because I thought I'd be missing commentaries/extra features, but I guess that's not the case. And now I'm even more disappointed.
I know what I like, and I like Fritos!
I don't want to be this bad.
Bad girls don't like to go to Dog Prom.
Although I became much more of a Felicity fan than a Dawson's Creek fan (Noel FOREVER; and crappy Julie can marry her guitar and leave the universe), I remember getting together with a bunch of friends and watching the premiere. I guess it was edgy for its time and we all enjoyed the certain risque environment the…
I'm glad to finally be able to re-watch Cybill. Christine Baranski was such comedic gold on that show and re-watching has made me realize I want to see a show containing Maryann Thorpe and Karen Walker.
I remember when she was gunning to play Esther in a film adaptation of "The Bell Jar." Thank god that never happened . . .
"Gold Dust" was a good album, but I feel as if Tori chose songs that were already very orchestral, so they ended up sounding very similar to the originals. I wasn't incredibly impressed.
I second this. (I don't watch Family Guy anymore; I just come here so I can revel in how much everyone hates this abortion of a show. But it's frustrating to actually have to search for every show I watch now. They need to bring back the My TV Club feature, but I'm sure that's been posted to death and they don't…
It was an audition for "Deal or No Deal." The joke was that Andy was auditioning for "Survivor" and "Deal or No Deal," and the show cut to a shirtless Andy, outside, auditioning not for "Survivor," but "Deal or No Deal."
