I don't know if it's me, or the show, but the past 4 seasons or so, I've become increasingly disillusioned with South Park. More frequently I find myself disagreeing with their stances on issues, and I find that their political satire and social commentary are too often one sided now.

I've been watching this show because I have this (immensely naive) idea that my views will up the ratings, and that will make the networks more apt to feature gay leads in their shows. And because Justin Bartha is gorgeous. But almost exclusively the former.

It's because of Shannel. Shannel has a serious superiorioty/inferiority complex. She KNOWS she's the absolute best, and everything she does is perfect, but she has a breakdown every time someone doesn't praise her.
