Vernon Reid is absolutely amazing. When I first heard that song I was just stunned - terrific track and opener.

Not sure it's my favorite, but Mastodon - Hearts Alive has a pretty great solo.

"If you had lung cancer, would you tell her?" (Or something like that.)

Cool, I can't wait to hear how terrible it is!

I love Perfume Genius' music, but this is the best thing he's done yet:

My wife pointed out one time that "Landmine Spring" sounds like "Lemon Spring." Now I can't hear it any other way… that bitch.

For me, it was the gratuitous "Thanks, Obama" line that just pulled me out of the action.

    This… this ISN'T a SciFi original movie…?

Matt Damon approves this move, because he knows that you get diversity through CASTING, dammit.

Re: Murderer - if you're not familiar with it, you should check out the Murderer e.p. - it has my preferred version of that track:

    Wavves - Mickey Mouse
    Kylesa - The Warning
    Judas Priest - The Ripper
    Alt-J - Taro
    Jerry's Kids - Build Me a Bomb
    Van Halen - On Fire
    Windhand - Boleskin
    Inter Arma - Westward
    Jawbreaker - Bivouac
    Tinariwen - Emajer

Agree with the love for The Sea and the Bells, although the ending of "Sirens" still makes me jump out of my skin.

Sorry, by "their own neighborhoods," you meant to say "the only places they're allowed/forced to live in," right?

    LOUD. Yes. Very much so.

Against the Grain, "Walk Away." That one, right there.

Heh. I wrote that before I finished watching…

I want to see the Tuco origin story.

I never once harvested a Little Sister in Bioshock…
