I don't love the song Lord, I'm Discouraged - but it is a fantastic guitar solo. I was trying to think of some other Tad Kubler songs that would fit the bill as I love his approach to rock leads, but in the end I feel like I enjoy his riffs and those are what remain memorable to me. His guitar playing on "Killer

The only thing well done during his 100+ days performing as a public servant have been his cuts of meat.

    You almost had ME?

Because there's so many great classic rock solos, I'm going to dip into a few faves post 2000 off the top of my head…
Jack White - White Stripes' "Ball & Biscuit"
Gary Clark Jr - "Bright Lights Big City"
Nels Cline - Wilco's "Impossible Germany" (his solo line over the dual guitar riff - definitely their "Hotel

Impossible Germany is my favorite of WIlco's (and probably Top 5 all time) but you're right, the At Least That's What You Said guitar line is gorgeously performed. I had never heard that it's supposed to evoke a panic attack, but it makes perfect sense.

I can vividly remember hearing Hotel California for the first time when I was 7 or 8 years old, at the lake for 4th of July, and that Guitar outro completely mesmerized me.

I find myself pronouncing Clair "Clay-ah" like Spacey does on the show, which I'm pretty sure angers our friends who have a young daughter named Clayah.

Mountain Dew doesn't affect you like that, c'mon.

"I'm sorry, but we have to let you go. Those are ja rules."

The letter "Y" is suing, alleging its unlawful use as a vowel without its consent.

No matter how badly you think things are, don't choose a permanent solution to what's a temporary problem.

Seriously. That song was such a ridiculous intro/thesis statement for that group. Sadly it could never be topped (although I'll still listen to "Show Me How To Live" from time to time).

I just got back from the gym 45 minutes ago, and the first song I listened to while there was Gin Blossoms' "Hey Jealousy".

    At least he's staying active.

Why she even smoked the last bit of Who Hash!

I could only imagine the night sweats that you've experienced while hearing "Save by Richter!" in your never ending nightmares….

Great, now I know I have ONE thing in common with Ann Coulter…

Then why's she found to be so unfavorable in every Gallop Poll?

    el diablo anaranjado.

Well, that settles it. I'm never going to Yale.
