Or at the very least, a triumphant moment that's not quite so on the nose and is a little more plausible - Victor barely makes contact, hits a little dribbler, beats the throw to first. Still a big moment for him and worthy of Bravermanebration, not nearly so cheesy.

I loved FNL like everyone else, but let's face it - writing probable scenarios for the actual play of a sport is not Katims' strong suit.
